Letter on Ding Hua's Participation in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Nantong Pangyuan Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of your organization, went to Ding Hua, the vice president, to voluntarily sign up as a hematopoietic stem cell donation registration volunteer on May 22, 2003, and collect blood samples for entry into the China Marrow Bank. On November 11, 2011, I received a notice from the Provincial Red Cross Society's Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donor Database Management Center that Ding Hua's initial HLA matching with the leukemia patients in the general database matched. I will contact Ding Hua in accordance with the relevant procedures for donating donations, and seek the opinions of him and his family. With the consent of all of them, on November 19, Comrade Ding Hua carefully filled in the "Remobilization Conversation Record" and "Volunteers". Four documents including Health Condition Inquiry Form, Informed Consent Form for Remobilization and Volunteer Remobilization Receipt were faxed to the Provincial Red Cross Society on the same day. On December 1, the Provincial Red Cross Society notified Comrade Ding Hua to conduct a high-definition test. On December 6, I will accompany Comrade Ding Hua to conduct high-definition sampling. On May 2, I will receive a notice from the Provincial Red Cross Society and arrange for volunteer Ding Hua to be admitted to the Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital for a physical examination as soon as possible. After passing the test, hematopoietic stem cell collection will be conducted. In accordance with the relevant regulations on marrow donation, I called Ding Hua's lover Luo Yanhong on May 3 to discuss the matter of marrow donation. With the consent of himself and his family, Ding Hua signed the "Consent to Donate Hematopoietic Stem Cells" on May 4, which was faxed to the Provincial Red Cross Society Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donor Database Management Center. Ding Hua was admitted to Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital on May 18 and made his donation on May 23.

According to the relevant regulations of the Red Cross Society of China and the Red Cross Society of Jiangsu Province, the donation time for donors is one month (9-10 days for donation, and 2-3 weeks rest after donation). During this period, it is recommended that your unit provide care , to give Comrade Ding Hua a half-month donation holiday, and the wages and benefits during the period remain unchanged.
