Since the onset of summer, Shanghai has experienced sustained clear, scorching weather, placing outdoor tower crane operations under severe heat‑stress conditions. To effectively safeguard the physical and mental well‑being of frontline workers and reinforce safety‑production responsibilities during the summer months, on the afternoon of July 8, Geng Hongbin, Director and Deputy General Manager of Shaanxi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and a director of Pangyuan Leasing, together with Qu Xiaodong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Pangyuan Leasing, along with other members of the leadership team, visited the project site of the Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group in Songjiang, accompanied by relevant officials from Shanghai Yidong. They carried out a “Bringing Coolness in the Scorching Summer, Caring for Frontline Workers” outreach activity, delivering relief and heartfelt concern to tower crane operators enduring the sweltering heat.
The delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the project’s construction progress and the implementation of high-temperature safety measures. Geng Hongbin extended his sincere greetings to the frontline workers who remain steadfast at their posts, emphasizing the company’s directives on summer workplace safety and heat‑prevention efforts. He repeatedly urged everyone to maintain a constant vigilance regarding safety, schedule work hours appropriately to avoid the hottest part of the day, strike a balance between work and rest, and safeguard both personal health and operational safety. At the same time, he stressed that project management personnel must meticulously implement heat‑related emergency response plans, intensify site inspections, and prevent any risks arising from extreme temperatures, thereby ensuring the project proceeds safely, smoothly, and in an orderly manner.
At the event site, Geng Hongbin and his delegation distributed carefully prepared summer‑relief care packages to each worker. Each package included refreshing beverages, heat‑stroke prevention medications, and protective gear, effectively addressing the practical needs of frontline personnel. This “cooling” support not only provided physical relief during the sweltering heat but also conveyed the company’s heartfelt concern for its grassroots employees, greatly boosting team morale and fostering a stronger safety‑culture on the construction site.
This “Cooling‑Off” initiative is a vivid illustration of Pangyuan Leasing’s commitment to a people‑centric management philosophy, as well as a key measure to ensure safe production during the summer months. Moving forward, Pangyuan Leasing will take this campaign as an opportunity to maintain rigorous oversight of safety‑management priorities in high‑temperature conditions, balancing robust risk prevention with thoughtful employee care. The company will steadfastly uphold its safety standards, providing solid assurance for the stable and smooth operation of all ongoing projects throughout the summer.
