To ensure the thorough implementation of the work plan for the 2026 “Work Safety Month,” on June 25, Pangyuan Leasing, in collaboration with its subsidiary Shanghai Yidong, conducted a comprehensive high-temperature fire‑fighting emergency drill, which was attended by employee representatives. The exercise featured the on-site guidance of industry experts from the Baoshan District Emergency Management Bureau and community medical professionals, employing a blended approach of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice to comprehensively enhance all employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.

The drill has officially commenced, with Hou Weiwei, Deputy General Manager of Pangyuan Leasing and Chief Commander of the emergency response exercise, delivering a mobilization address. He emphasized that workplace safety is the bottom line for corporate development, and that emergency response skills are an essential competency for every employee—better to be prepared and never need to use those skills than to find oneself unprepared when the time comes. He urged all participants to adopt a serious attitude, strictly adhere to site discipline, and fully engage in each training module, mastering practical skills such as heat‑stroke first aid, fire‑response procedures, and personnel evacuation, thereby effectively translating safety knowledge into the ability to protect themselves and others.
This exercise features five core practical training modules—heat‑related emergency response, safety‑production regulation briefings, fire‑scene evacuation and escape, hands‑on fire‑extinguisher use, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) combined with AED operation—balancing theoretical instruction with realistic scenario simulations to address the actual risks associated with high‑temperature production activities. During a specialized heat‑safety session, community medical experts delivered a comprehensive lecture on key measures for preventing heat‑related illnesses in summer work conditions. In response to common workplace emergencies such as heatstroke and sudden cardiac arrest, they used mannequins to demonstrate step‑by‑step procedures for physical cooling, CPR, and proper AED use. Trainees took turns practicing these techniques, while medical personnel provided one‑on‑one guidance to correct any procedural errors, ensuring that every participant fully understood the emergency‑response protocols and mastered the necessary rescue skills.

Experts from the Baoshan District Emergency Management Bureau provided an in-depth analysis of the “Three Controls, Three Musts” responsibility system under the Work Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, while also summarizing the key updates to the latest work safety regulations. Focusing on enterprise equipment leasing and on-site construction operations, they thoroughly explained the newly added and revised provisions of the national standard “Determination of Lost Workdays Due to Occupational Injuries,” clarified the safety management responsibilities of each position, and strengthened the foundation of law-based work safety awareness across all employees.
The on-site drill simulated a real‑world fire scenario. All employees strictly followed evacuation protocols, covering their mouths and noses, bending low, and evacuating quickly and in an orderly manner to the outdoor safety assembly point. Each work team promptly completed headcounts and reported back. An emergency response expert conducted a post‑exercise review of the entire evacuation process and demonstrated, step by step, the proper procedures for using a dry‑powder fire extinguisher—lifting, pulling the pin, gripping the handle, and pressing the lever. Employees then practiced fire suppression in small groups, gaining hands‑on experience and mastering essential skills for tackling incipient fires.

This joint drill was well-organized and featured scenarios closely aligned with actual production conditions, effectively validating the emergency response coordination mechanism between Pangyuan Leasing and its subsidiaries. It comprehensively enhanced frontline employees’ capabilities in heat‑related protection, fire evacuation, and first aid for casualties, clarified areas for corrective action and improvement, and laid out a plan for a second round of refresher training in the second half of the year, thereby promoting the institutionalization and standardization of emergency preparedness exercises.
Going forward, Pangyuan Leasing will continue to conduct regular, diversified safety training exercises, closely monitor risks and hazards in key areas such as high-temperature construction and equipment operations, and implement closed-loop management for hazard identification and remediation. By maintaining routine safety drills, the company will fortify its robust safety production defenses and ensure its safe and steady growth.
