To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on work safety and effectively enhance all employees’ safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, Hubei Pangyuan organized fire‑emergency drills and fire‑evacuation exercises at its Qianchuan base on June 23. The event was attended by members of the company’s leadership team, including Director Tong Guangli and General Manager He Jiang, as well as all employees.

Train for battle, fortify the safety “firewall”
At the fire‑emergency drill site, a sudden blaze was simulated, with thick smoke spreading rapidly. The emergency command team promptly activated the contingency plan, and each response team sprang into action, coordinating seamlessly. Participating staff skillfully operated fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and other equipment, swiftly extinguishing the incipient fire in accordance with standard procedures. The entire exercise unfolded in a tense yet orderly manner, thoroughly validating the scientific soundness and operational feasibility of the emergency response plan.
During the fire‑escape drill, as the alarm sounded, all employees bent low, covered their mouths and noses, and swiftly evacuated along the designated evacuation routes to the safe assembly point. Through this immersive experience, staff members became more familiar with the escape routes, mastered essential self‑rescue techniques, and truly committed the importance of “lifelines” to memory.

Using learning to drive action, we are weaving a robust emergency response “safety net.”
During the first-aid skills training session, professional instructors systematically taught essential techniques—including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and the Heimlich maneuver—through a combination of theoretical instruction, live demonstrations, and hands-on assessments. Employees actively participated and practiced repeatedly, significantly enhancing their ability to provide life-saving care as “first responders.”
Fire safety training was conducted by Yu Meizhou, an expert from the fire brigade. Tailoring the session to the characteristics of the lifting machinery industry and drawing on typical fire incidents, he thoroughly analyzed common hazards and provided a detailed explanation of the “Four Understandings and Four Abilities” as well as key points for daily fire‑prevention inspections, thereby effectively enhancing employees’ fire safety awareness.
In his concluding remarks, Board Director Tong Guangli emphasized that workplace safety is the lifeline of corporate development and an inviolable red line. This drill was well-organized and yielded significant results, successfully achieving the intended objectives of “enhancing prevention through practice and preparing for emergencies through training.”

There are no small matters when it comes to safety; responsibility weighs heavier than mountains. Taking this drill as an opportunity, Hubei Pangyuan will continue to deepen its safety‑culture initiatives, translating the lessons learned into concrete actions in daily safety management. By embedding safety principles into every role and every process, we will build an unshakable safety barrier that underpins the company’s high‑quality development, safeguarding the lives of our employees and ensuring the stable growth of the enterprise.
