To further deepen the integration of Party building with workplace safety and to solidify the foundations of tower crane equipment management and safe operations, on June 23, 2026, Sichuan Pangyuan, in collaboration with the Huaxi Branch of China Construction Eighth Bureau, held a 2026 mechanical management skills training event at the Huaikou Base in Jintang. The event centered on implementing an integrated mechanism that links Party building, safety, and technical expertise, forging a new path for safe development characterized by “Party leadership strengthening the foundation and practical training enhancing efficiency,” thereby fostering a stable and orderly safety environment conducive to high-quality growth.
Yang Yilin, a director of Sichuan Pangyuan Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome address. He emphasized that the safety of special‑purpose equipment is of paramount importance in construction and must always be given top priority. He stressed that this training program should focus on the actual needs of each position to ensure targeted instruction; adopt innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of the training; and establish robust long‑term mechanisms to ensure its regular implementation. Mr. Yang stated that Sichuan Pangyuan will continue to integrate the role of the Party organization throughout the entire skills‑training process, leveraging the exemplary and pioneering role of Party members to drive skill development across the workforce. At the same time, the company will firmly uphold the red line of workplace safety, deepen collaborative safety initiatives, strengthen technical exchanges, reinforce frontline equipment safety management, and further consolidate its strategic partnership with the Huaxi Branch of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau.

This training session brought together more than 60 safety management and operations personnel from the Engineering Department, Safety Supervision Department of the Southwest Branch of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau, as well as related organizations. Throughout the training, key Party members took the lead, guiding participants through safety procedures, equipment‑operation guidelines, and essential emergency‑response protocols. Focusing on critical areas such as equipment maintenance, hazard identification, and hands‑on emergency drills, they conducted immersive, “face‑to‑face” instruction and step‑by‑step, hands‑on training. Participants concentrated on pivotal roles and key equipment, practicing each task—from operational skills and coordinated teamwork to emergency response—repeatedly and thoroughly, ensuring that the training outcomes translate into concrete actions that firmly uphold safety standards.

Safety awareness is the first line of defense in workplace safety, while a robust safety culture provides the deep‑seated foundation for it. This event not only strengthened job‑specific skills but also fostered a shared mindset and cultivated a rich cultural heritage of safety. Leveraging the “red engine” to elevate the quality and efficiency of safety management—by upholding Party leadership as the cornerstone and implementing skill‑based training to empower safety—has proven to be an effective approach for advancing workplace safety in the new era. Sichuan Pangyuan stated that it will take this initiative as an opportunity to further deepen company‑wide safety‑skills training, continuously enhance its safety management capabilities and standards, firmly safeguard the bottom line of workplace safety, and make even greater contributions to the enterprise’s high‑quality development and the industry’s ongoing progress in safety.
