To strengthen accountability for workplace safety and lay a solid foundation for the safe development of the enterprise, Shaanxi Pangyuan recently launched its 2026 “Work Safety Month” campaign under the theme “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hazards.” The event is being conducted through a hybrid online-and-offline format. Attendees included Wang Gaorong, Director and General Manager of Shaanxi Pangyuan; Vice General Manager Wang Fanrong; Chief Engineer Yao Cui; other members of the management team; heads of various departments and regional offices; frontline employees; and representatives from partner suppliers.
At the launch ceremony, attendees watched a short safety‑production警示教育 video, using real‑world accident cases to sound the alarm on workplace safety. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department then presented this year’s Safety Production Month plan, outlined the company’s safety management system, and reviewed typical accident cases, helping all employees further strengthen their safety awareness and vigilance.

At the meeting, Wang Fanrong, focusing on the company’s annual work‑safety objectives, outlined and assigned key tasks for Safety Month, emphasizing a core approach of “identifying hazards, correcting violations, strengthening emergency preparedness, and ensuring safety.” He stressed the importance of conducting specialized safety training for critical roles such as tower crane operators, high‑altitude workers, and equipment inspectors. Meanwhile, Yao Cui, addressing the specific management of tower cranes, called for enhanced on‑site supervision throughout all stages, strict enforcement against unauthorized operations and improper instructions, and leveraging Safety Month to reinforce rigorous job‑specific safety controls. In his concluding remarks, Wang Gaorong set forth four requirements for effectively implementing Safety Month: First, strengthen accountability at every level by thoroughly communicating the event’s guiding principles and organizing safety education, self‑inspections, and related activities; second, standardize on‑site operations by strictly adhering to the “Ten No‑Lift” rules, tightly managing lifting and transportation procedures, and eliminating any non‑compliant practices; third, intensify oversight and control through routine random inspections, verifying both field equipment and documentation to ensure compliance; and fourth, organize safety‑knowledge competitions to encourage all employees to learn about, understand, and uphold safety standards, translating knowledge into practical application and using learning to enhance safety. He urged all staff members and partner organizations to seize this Safety Month as an opportunity to continuously raise their safety awareness and hands‑on capabilities, rigorously adhere to safety protocols, and ensure the safe and orderly execution of project work.
At the meeting, representatives from the three suppliers each spoke on the spot, pledging to strictly comply with the company’s safety management system, firmly assume their primary safety responsibilities, standardize on-site work procedures, and actively cooperate with hazard‑remediation efforts, thereby working together to build a safe and stable construction environment.

Following the ceremony, all attendees solemnly took a safety pledge, vowing to uphold the safety baseline and fulfill their safety responsibilities. They then signed the banner one by one and posed for a group photo, marking a solid start to this year’s Safety Production Month activities.
