Nantong Pangyuan Holds the Launch Meeting for the 11th Bi-Monthly Safety Campaign

Recently, Nantong Pangyuan Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. held the kickoff meeting for the 11th “Safety Bi-Monthly” campaign, officially launching this year’s initiative to deepen workplace safety efforts. All company management personnel, safety officers, and labor service supervisors attended the meeting.
This meeting, centered on the theme of “Everyone Promotes Safety, Everyone Is Prepared for Emergencies,” clarified the division of responsibilities and set specific milestone targets, refined the task list and evaluation mechanisms, and ensured that all measures are effectively implemented and yield tangible results. At the same time, all departments, work teams, and subcontracting units were required to carry out extensive mobilization and deployment efforts, with a strong focus on fostering a robust culture in which “everyone understands safety, everyone participates in safety, and everyone oversees safety.” This initiative aims to encourage employees to proactively report potential hazards and to stop unsafe and non-compliant practices, thereby establishing a safety management network that extends horizontally to every level and vertically to the grassroots.
At the meeting, Li Wei, General Manager of Nantong Pangyuan, put forward four requirements: First, elevate our ideological stance and firmly establish the safety philosophy that puts life first. All employees must deeply understand the core message of this Safety Month campaign, internalize the principle of “everyone prioritizes safety” in both thought and action, abandon complacency, wishful thinking, and lax attitudes, and steadfastly uphold the guiding principle of “safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management.” Second, focus on our core business and conduct targeted, precise hazard identification and remediation. In light of the characteristics of the company’s primary industry, we will take the bi-monthly safety production inspections as an opportunity to carry out comprehensive, grid-style hazard identification and rectification across all areas. Third, strengthen capability enhancement and hone practical emergency response skills for every employee. The company will organize a series of activities, including safety knowledge training, emergency drills for special equipment, cautionary education based on accident case studies, and skill competitions for specific job roles. Fourth, ensure that responsibilities are fully assigned to every employee and build a safety governance framework in which all employees participate. Safe production is the responsibility of everyone. We must cascade safety responsibilities down through all levels, break down safety objectives into departmental targets, assign specific responsibilities to individual positions, and refine tasks to the individual level, thereby ensuring effective safety management at the “last meter.”
This bi-monthly safety production campaign is not only a mandatory requirement for implementing the national, provincial, and municipal safety production directives, but also an urgent need for our company to identify and address potential hazards, strengthen weak areas, enhance the safety awareness of all employees, and build a robust safety defense.
