On March 10, the Fifth Council Election Conference and the 2026 Members’ Assembly of the Guangdong Provincial Construction Machinery Rental Industry Association were solemnly held at the Guangdong Yingbin Hotel in Guangzhou. Attending the event were Tang Jing, Director of the Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development; Liu Huixiong, First-Level Chief Staff Member; and Li Yingna, Deputy Director of the Education and Training Department of the Guangdong General Association of Social Organizations. In addition, more than 150 distinguished guests—including Chai Zhaoyi, Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.; Shi Hongquan, President of the Beijing Construction Machinery Industry Association; Xu Dong, President of the Machinery and Rental Branch of the Shenzhen Construction Industry Association; Xiang Maofu, President of the Zhanjiang Construction Industry Association; Luo Guoxiong, President of the Safety Branch of the Heyuan Construction Industry Association; and Guo Yuming, President of the Rental Branch of the Shaoguan Construction Industry Association—along with representatives from various member units and leading industry professionals, gathered to witness this pivotal moment in the association’s leadership transition and to discuss the future development of the industry.

At the meeting, following a democratic election, Lei Jingtao, a director of Guangdong Pangyuan Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., was unanimously elected as the fifth president of the Guangdong Provincial Association of Construction Machinery Rental. In accordance with the agenda, the meeting solemnly held a flag-handover ceremony, which fully demonstrates the competent government authorities’ recognition of the association’s work and their ongoing commitment to the healthy development of the industry, while also marking the formal transfer of leadership responsibilities and mission to the new president.
