Learn Comrade Ding Hua to Practice Thanksgiving
On May 15, 2012, Nantong Pangyuan received an e-mail from the Red Cross Society of Nantong City in the mailbox of the company. It turned out to be a letter about Comrade Ding Hua’s participation in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
In May 22, 2003, Comrade Ding Hua wrote that he would register as a volunteer for registration of hematopoietic stem cell donation (also the earliest group of volunteers in Nantong City at the time), and collected blood samples for entry into the Chinese Bone Marrow Bank. On November 11th, 2011, the Nantong Red Cross received a notice from the provincial Red Cross Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donor Database Management Center. Dinghua and histologically compatible antigen (HLA) of the pooled leukemia patient met the initial match and were given With the full consent of Hua and his family, on November 9th, Comrade Ding Hua conscientiously filled out “Remobilization Record”, “Volunteer Health Status Consultation Form”, “Remobilization Informed Consent Form” and “Volunteer Remobilization Receipt”. Four documents were sent to the Red Cross Society of Jiangsu Province on the same day. On December 6, Comrade Ding Hua conducted high-resolution sampling and blood samples were sent to the Suzhou Blood Center on the same day. On February 29, 2012, the Nantong Red Cross organized Comrade Ding Hua to do a comprehensive health examination at the Nantong University Affiliated Hospital. On May 2, the Red Cross Society of Jiangsu Province informed Dinghua that he would be admitted to the People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province for physical examination, and hematopoietic stem cells should be collected after passing the examination. On May 3rd, the Nantong Red Cross Society also called Ding Hua Lian to discuss the donation of hematopoietic stem cells. On May 4th, Comrade Ding Hua signed the "Consent for donation of hematopoietic stem cells". He was admitted to the Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing on May 18, and on May 23, he made a donation.
Comrade Ding Hua has become a registered volunteer for hematopoietic stem cell donation. He has achieved the first successful HLA matching with patients with leukemia in the hospital. He has spent more than 8 years and has spent 6 months on data preparation, blood sample collection, and physical examination. Donations.
The incidence of hematological malignancies in China is only about three-hundredths of a millionth of leukemia, which means that nearly 36,000 people have leukemia each year. Among these patients, most of them are under the age of 30, and those under the age of 15 occupy more than 50%, which brings a great burden and misfortune to the society and the family. Although hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is an ideal method for the treatment of hematological malignancies, it is not easy to find matching histologically compatible antigen genes in the patient. In order to save an unfamiliar leukemia patient, Comrade Ding Hua, with an unselfish and loving heart, donated blood cell stem cells to Nanjing, not only the glory of Ding Hua and his family, but also the glory of our company!
Comrade Ding Hua was 48 years old this year. He is the oldest donor in Jiangsu Province so far. When he knew the news, he did not worry about the impact on his body. Instead, he asked the doctor and he was so old and donated. The vitality of the hematopoietic stem cells will not affect the recovery of patients. This kind of selfless love touched us.
In his usual work, Comrade Ding Hua was diligent, hard-working, and modest and helpful. This time he knew that he volunteered to donate blood-forming stem cells. The image of Comrade Ding Hua was even greater in our hearts! We also set an example for our company-wide employees. We must learn Comrade Ding Hua’s indifferent fame and fortune and noble character of selfless devotion; practice gratitude, thanksgiving for the society, gratitude to the enterprise, and thanksgiving staff; do more valuable and meaningful delivery. Things that are warm and harmonious; they must be icing on the cake, and they must be given in the snow!
